API 7K ROTARY DRILLING HOSE

Rotary hose is used to convey high-pressure drilling liquids between the top of the mud standpipe and the rotary swivel.

It is also called drilling hose, mud hose and kelly hose.

FSL 0: This shall be specified by the purchaser in the purchasing agreement for cement hoses only.

FSL 1: This shall be specified by the purchaser in the purchasing agreement for rotary, vibrator, and jumper hoses for normal service conditions only.

FSL 2: This shall be specified by the purchaser in the purchasing agreement for rotary, vibrator, and jumper hoses that are likely to incur high frequency pressure pulsations with an amplitude exceeding 6.9MPa (1000 psi)during operation.
